The Fever improved to 27-14 and moved into a tie with Atlanta for fourth place, earning their eighth win in 10 games with three regular-season games remaining. Mitchell has scored at least 20 points in 25 consecutive games, and The Athletic reports that she is the first guard in league history to surpass 1,000 points in a season, according to The Athletic.
Mitchell also made seven 3-pointers against Toronto. That raised her season total to 128, surpassing the Indiana franchise record of 122 set by Clark during her 2024 rookie season, the Fever recap reports.

The Fever’s position comes amid broader evidence of growing interest in the WNBA. According to the Golden State Valkyries, the expansion team sold out all 22 regular-season home games at Chase Center in 2025 while setting WNBA records for average attendance and total fans.
Mitchell has spent her entire professional career with Indiana after joining the Fever in 2018 following her Ohio State career, according to WLWT. Her latest record adds to a season in which she has set the league’s single-season scoring standard while helping Indiana remain in postseason contention.
