Tuesday, September 8, and Wednesday, September 9, will be the hottest days of the week, with highs near 98 degrees under sunny skies. Tuesday’s heat index could reach 104, while overnight lows remain in the upper 70s and offer limited relief.

Scattered storm chances may linger into Saturday, but the weekend still looks hot, with highs near 95 degrees. No watches, warnings or advisories are listed in the current forecast, though residents should take the heat seriously, especially during afternoon work, exercise and outdoor events.
