Temperatures should rise quickly Saturday and peak at 99 degrees. Saturday night will offer limited relief, with mostly clear skies and a low around 75.
Sunday will remain hot, with a high near 98 and a low chance of rain. People spending time outdoors should drink plenty of fluids, seek shade or air conditioning and check on older adults, neighbors and anyone without reliable cooling.
