Todd Michael Glaser, a South Florida developer known for buying and reselling some of Palm Beach's grandest addresses, has put his own home on the market for $59 million. The estate sits at 125 Via Del Lago, roughly half a mile from Mar-a-Lago, and Glaser says he now plans to downsize from his family's mansion and move to a more walkable part of town.
The Mediterranean-style estate has eight bedrooms, 10 bathrooms and two half-baths on approximately 0.8 acres. Designed in the 1920s by architect Marion Sims Wyeth, it includes a pool, gym, six-car garage and two-story cabana.
Glaser's history with the property reads like a real estate case study in itself. He first bought the estate for $11 million in early 2018 and renovated it with his wife before selling the following year for $16.1 million. That 2019 sale, reported at the time by Palm Beach Daily News, closed on July 15, 2019, after the home had been marketed at higher asking prices earlier that year. Glaser then repurchased the estate in 2022 for $23.2 million, bringing it back into his hands for a third time.
Buying the Neighbors to Grow the Lot
In 2024, Glaser partnered with his neighbor, Jane Holzer, to buy the property next door at 111 Via Del Lago for $15.5 million, with Glaser paying roughly $7.8 million for his half, per the same report from The Real Deal. He used that neighboring land to expand his estate's front yard and add a circular brick driveway. The move fits a pattern the outlet has described as common practice in South Florida's luxury market, where buying adjacent lots to assemble bigger estates has become increasingly routine.
How flood-elevation rules factor in
According to a Town of Palm Beach permit checklist, habitable-space finish floors must be at least 18º above the lowest adjacent road crown and also meet specific FEMA and local flood-zone requirements. The guidance addresses elevation standards; it does not establish insurance costs, coverage or other policy terms for this property.
The listing describes the home as the third lot west of the coastal road on Via Del Lago, with private beach access noted in a separate account from Realtor.com. That account also places the property within the security perimeter around Mar-a-Lago. Suzanne Frisbie handled both sides of the 2019 sale, while the property's location, land size, historic design and charm are highlighted as selling points.
Conflicting Figures on Size
A separate description puts 111 Via Del Lago at approximately 16,000 square feet, while Realtor.com's description of the listing puts the residence at 12,000 square feet. Earlier coverage from Palm Beach Daily News, describing the estate before its most recent expansion, characterized it as an eight-bedroom home built in 1929.
A Developer With a History Near Mar-a-Lago
Glaser's broader portfolio includes Palm Beach's Tarpon Island deal, where he partnered with an investment group to overhaul the estate before its sale. Palm Beach Daily News reported the sale at a recorded $150 million, after an earlier MLS-based report had put the figure at $152 million.
The $59 million ask lands in an unusually hot corner of the housing market. Palm Beach County has recorded 45 house sales of $50 million or more since 2021, totaling $3.5 billion, according to Palm Beach Luxury, with 31 of those sales in the Town of Palm Beach alone. Nearly half of the county's mega-sales, 22 in total, closed privately without ever appearing on an MLS board.
Whether Glaser's own mansion fetches anywhere near his ask will be the next chapter in a property he just cannot seem to stay away from.
