Pho Bar Vietnamese Kitchen is planting its flag in Pompano Beach, with a new location coming to Pompano Beach Shopping Center at 2515 E. Atlantic Blvd. The restaurant is known for slow-simmered broths, customizable noodle bowls and a menu built around traditional Vietnamese cooking techniques, and now South Florida diners on the northern stretch of Broward County will get their own outpost.
The Pompano Beach expansion was first detailed by WhatNow, which reported that the restaurant will open its newest location at the shopping center and confirmed the address. According to that report, an official opening date has not yet been announced. That marks a shift from earlier reporting in August, when the Sun Sentinel quoted the owner as targeting a late-August or early-September opening for the spot.
The Sun Sentinel's earlier preview also detailed some of what Pompano Beach diners can expect once the doors open, including crispy tamarind wings, coconut mussels and rice flour crepes alongside the restaurant's many varieties of pho. Those dishes fit within the broader menu WhatNow describes, which centers on pho, rice plates, curries and noodle bowls, plus shareable plates, handcrafted cocktails, tea and coffee.
What's on the Menu
Guests can customize their own pho bowls or order the House Special Pho, made with slow-cooked beef broth, eye of round, brisket, flank steak, tripe and meatballs, per the same account. It's typically served with bean sprouts, fresh herbs, yellow onions and green onions. For something different, there's the Hangover Cure, a combination of bone marrow, egg and pho broth that WhatNow lists alongside crispy Brussels sprouts as menu standouts.
The rest of the starters lineup includes wings, egg rolls, spring rolls, shrimp and mussels, rounding out a menu built for sharing. Phở Bar's own website describes its food as drawing from time-honored recipes requiring hours of preparation alongside more innovative creations served in a modern setting, according to phobar.co. The company traces its start to early 2020, when it says its mission became creating a dining experience rooted in traditional cooking techniques and the freshest ingredients.
A Growing South Florida Footprint
Pompano Beach will join a roster that already includes locations in Orlando, Davie and Pembroke Pines, along with an express location in Boston, per WhatNow's reporting. Phở Bar's locations page notes that its broths are simmered for 24 hours and that its restaurants serve fresh rice noodles and what it calls crave-worthy hangover soup, according to phobar.co/locations. The company's express outposts, including the Boston location, feature a pared-down menu highlighting only the signature pho dishes alongside appetizers and fresh, cold-pressed sugarcane juices, the same page states.
At the Orlando location on Via Dellagio Way, Phở Bar is currently listed as open from 11:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. and closed Wednesdays. The restaurant serves house special pho, wagyu pho, a shrimp noodle bowl and a pork chop rice plate, according to the Orange Observer. That location also pours a variety of teas, including Thai tea, taro milk tea, fruit tea and orange honey tea, the outlet reported.
Down in Davie, a review from The Infatuation recommends starting with the grilled mussels and the bánh xèo, and notes that location runs a daily Happy Hour from 3 to 6 p.m. Whether the Pompano Beach outpost will mirror that format, or the express-style menu of the Boston location, has not been detailed in any of the available reporting.
Neighborhood Buzz Ahead of the Opening

Word of the expansion has already circulated locally, with an Instagram post describing the new spot as landing on the north side of Atlantic Boulevard, east of Federal Highway, in the Publix-anchored center. Phở Bar operates all of its locations on a first-come, first-served basis and does not take reservations, according to its website, and it also offers catering for birthdays, reunions, work gatherings and wedding celebrations. For now, Pompano Beach diners eager for a bowl of pho will simply have to keep watching for an official opening announcement.
