Saturday night will turn mostly cloudy, with temperatures dipping to around 49 degrees. Sunday looks like the weekend winner, with sunny skies, a high near 70, and light north-northwest winds around 6 mph.
Monday Stays Mild Before Rain Returns
Monday should remain mostly sunny and cool, topping out near 68 degrees. A slight chance of light rain arrives after 5 a.m. Tuesday, followed by a mostly cloudy day with a 26% chance of rain and a high near 66, according to the National Weather Service in Portland.
Coastal Winds Could Complicate Weekend Plans
For the Portland metro area, much of the midweek period may stay dry or see only light rain, while better rain chances develop along the north Oregon Coast, Coast Range and southwest Washington Cascades. Small Craft Advisories are posted for parts of the coastal waters Saturday afternoon into early Sunday, so beach and boating plans may be bumpier than the sunny forecast inland suggests.
A Quick Reset After Friday’s Storm
