Classic cars, hot rods and muscle cars will roll into Bluffdale City Park this Saturday for a show that doubles as a holiday lifeline for local kids. Admission costs nothing but a new, unwrapped toy or a cash donation, with donations supporting the U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots program.

The event, reported by ABC4 Utah, brings together Rockin' Hotrod Productions, CraneCo Trucking and the Bluffdale Lions Club, a trio that joined forces to help local children in need have a happy Christmas. According to the station's report, organizer Blaine Thompson, Cory Draper and Gunnery Sergeant Stephen Corson sat down to discuss the car show details and ways to help throughout the year. The show runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Bluffdale Park, 14400 S. 2700 W., with awards handed out in the afternoon and Rockin' Hotrod Productions providing the music, food, giveaways and prizes throughout the day.

A Community Car Show

Rockin' Hotrod Productions says it has provided classic cruise nights and car shows for 21 years.

Community Partners Pitch In

CraneCo Trucking is one of the partners behind this year's show.

The Bluffdale Lions Club is also a partner in Saturday's show.

Why A Growing Suburb Needs The Help

Bluffdale has changed fast enough to make a holiday toy drive feel especially timely. The city's population reached an estimated 20,015 residents in 2026 after growing more than 15% since the 2020 Census, with a median age of 30.6 and a median household income of $129,531, according to prior Hoodline reporting on Bluffdale's growth. S&P Global Ratings projections point toward a build-out population of roughly 40,000 residents, underscoring just how many young families are settling into the area.

Bluffdale City Park will host the car show.
