Wednesday brings dry conditions, with a partly sunny afternoon. The high should reach about 70 degrees, making for one of those late-October days that feels more like a bonus summer encore.
Sunny Wednesday Leads Into Even Warmer Thursday
Winds will stay light Wednesday, generally around 5 mph, with partly sunny skies in the afternoon. Overnight lows are forecast in the low to mid-50s.
Thursday looks even warmer, with sunshine and a high near 76 degrees. South-to-southwest winds will run 10 to 12 knots Thursday morning and afternoon. Rain chances increase Thursday evening into Thursday night, with precipitation chances around 30% to 60% across much of the area.
The warm spell is tied to high pressure shifting east and southerly flow bringing warmer air into Northeast Ohio. A cold front is expected Thursday night, but the NWS says weak support and limited moisture should keep showers isolated. Rain chances return more broadly Sunday and early next week.
Thursday’s forecast high is near 76 degrees. The warmth could come close to a record: the NWS lists Cleveland’s Oct. 29 record high as 78 degrees, set in 2024, two degrees above Thursday’s current forecast.
Cooler Friday, Mild Weekend
Friday will bring a cooler high near 69 degrees after the Thursday night front moves through. Saturday should remain mild, with a high near 68 degrees.
Sunday will reach a high around 68 degrees, and showers become possible Sunday night with a 30% chance. Monday has trended drier, with rain chances rising again midweek.
No Advisories For Cleveland
No watches, warnings or advisories are in effect for the Cleveland area. For outdoor plans, Wednesday and Thursday offer the best stretch of dry, warm weather before cooler conditions and higher rain chances settle in early next week.
