Oklahoma City is getting its own version of a TV game show set, as Game Show Studio opens its first location in the state inside Red Door Escape Room at 13230 Pawnee Drive, Suite 212, in the Chisholm Creek development. The venue will hold a ribbon cutting at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 7, followed by a grand opening celebration at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 10, complete with discounted tickets and a raffle.
A Seventh Studio Under the Red Door Banner
According to a release detailed by PR Newswire, the Oklahoma City location is owned and operated by Red Door Escape Room and marks the seventh Game Show Studio to open inside a Red Door venue nationwide — and the brand's first in Oklahoma. Red Door Escape Room is based in Dallas-Fort Worth and operates more than 20 escape room locations across the country, per the Journal Record. Game Show Studio itself was co-founded by Fort Worth native Julian Wagner and Jack Slayton in Rosedale, Minnesota, in 2023, as reported by CultureMap Fort Worth.
Nick Madden said the Chisholm Creek community can carry its competitive spirit from the escape room to the game show stage, per the Journal Record, adding that the studio is suited to birthdays, team outings and nights out with friends. The concept features more than 13 unique games for all ages and group sizes, according to PR Newswire, with trained hosts and producers leading the action, as the Journal Record notes.
Grand Opening Deals and a Free Game Show Raffle
Guests can book an event at a grand-opening discount of $24.99 per ticket using the code CHCKGSS26, per PR Newswire's announcement, though the Journal Record notes the discounted rate carries exclusions. The Oct. 10 celebration will also include behind-the-scenes tours and a raffle for prizes, including one free game show for up to 12 people, the Journal Record reports.
The games are designed for groups ranging from four to more than 16 participants, according to PR Newswire, and the studio offers a 60-minute game show experience for friends, family and coworkers, per Game Show Studio's website. The Oklahoma City studio will be open daily, running from 11 a.m. to 8:45 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and from 9:45 a.m. to 10:35 p.m. Friday and Saturday, per the same PR Newswire release.
Eyeing Corporate Crowds and Holiday Parties
Beyond birthday parties and friend groups, Game Show Studio is targeting the corporate holiday party season with customizable packages for teams of 20 or more, according to the Journal Record. Corporate packages include a 60-minute host-led show, event theming, a 10-foot LED screen, and help with catering, invitations and gifts, the Journal Record reports.
The Oklahoma City opening follows a wave of recent expansion for the brand in Texas. Game Show Studio opened a location inside Red Door Escape Room in Southlake on Sept. 12, as reported by Community Impact, marking the brand's sixth studio inside a Red Door venue and its second in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, following one that debuted inside Red Door in Fort Worth's Montgomery Plaza in 2025, according to CultureMap Fort Worth. At that Southlake location, a full episode of play costs $37.95 per person and lasts one hour, with capacity for up to 16 players, per Community Impact's report.
Game Show Studio is expanding nationwide through franchising, according to PR Newswire, and more information on the Oklahoma City location is available at gameshowstudio.com/oklahoma-city, per the Journal Record.
