Nashville is waking up to temperatures near 50 degrees Friday morning, but the day will warm quickly. The forecast calls for mostly sunny conditions and a high near 82, making for an unusually warm start to Halloween weekend.
Warm, Dry Weather Holds Through Halloween
Patchy fog is possible before 7 a.m. Friday, followed by light easterly winds and plenty of afternoon sunshine. Friday night will turn mostly cloudy with a low around 57, while Saturday stays mild with a high near 80.
Rain should hold off through most Halloween plans Saturday, with temperatures expected to remain in the upper 60s to low 70s during the evening. The National Weather Service says showers could begin after 1 a.m. Sunday as clouds thicken.
Sunday Brings Showers And Gusty Winds
Sunday looks like the wettest day of the weekend, with an 80% chance of rain showers and a high near 65. South winds near 10 mph could gust to 20 mph, so outdoor plans may need a backup option.
Showers may linger into Sunday night before conditions turn mostly cloudy Monday, when the high should reach 72. Another round of unsettled weather is possible Tuesday through Wednesday, with rain chances rising to 50% Wednesday and no severe-weather threat currently indicated.
