Santa is set to make an appearance alongside singer David Osmond at Cottonwood High School Auditorium in Murray on Dec. 5, when the KUTV Holiday Pops Concert returns for a night of live music benefiting the Salvation Army Angel Tree Program. The show starts at 7:30 p.m. at the auditorium, located at 5715 S. 1300 E.
According to KUTV, this year's lineup includes the Choral Arts Society of Utah, the Skyline High Madrigals and the West Valley Symphony of Utah, with Osmond serving as the featured artist. The station describes the evening as a chance to enjoy live holiday music, seasonal cheer, and a special visit from Santa, all while supporting the Angel Tree Program's holiday giving efforts.
Sterling Poulson joined Fresh Living to talk about the upcoming show, per the same KUTV report. Tickets are listed at $15 through Eventbrite.com, and the station notes that shoppers can knock $2 off the price using the code KUTV. A separate Eventbrite search-page listing shows a starting price of $17.85 for an event tied to the Choral Arts Society of Utah at the same venue, though it is unclear whether that listing reflects the same ticket type as the station's $15 price.
Community Backers Behind the Show
KUTV credits a handful of supporters for helping bring the concert together, including the station itself, the Joseph & Kathleen Sorenson Legacy Foundation, Salt Lake County ZAP, and the Larry H. & Gail Miller Family Foundation. The lineup of backers mirrors the kind of community partnerships that have kept the holiday tradition running in past years.
A Returning Holiday Tradition in Murray
The Holiday Pops Concert has become something of a December fixture at Cottonwood High School. Last year's show, also organized by KUTV, took place on Saturday, Dec. 6, 2025, at the same 7:30 p.m. start time, with the station promising “beloved holiday classics, stunning performances, and a lively atmosphere” designed to bring joy to audiences of all ages.
Earlier promotional material from the Murray Journal described a version of the concert featuring jazz vocalist Anna Wilson, the Vision Children's Choir and the West Valley Symphony of Utah, with all proceeds directed to the Salvation Army Angel Tree. That listing, which is undated, also cited ticket prices of $12 through SmithsTix or $15 at the door — figures that reflect historical promotion rather than confirmed pricing for this year's Dec. 5 event.
With the 2026 date now set, organizers are once again pointing concertgoers toward a night that blends choral performances, orchestral music and a charitable cause rolled into one community gathering at the Murray auditorium.
