Indictment Charges 10 in $9 Million Fraud Scheme Against U.S. Pandemic Relief Programs
Federal prosecutors have charged ten individuals in connection with a $9 million fraud scheme targeting SBA loan programs, including the Paycheck Protection Program and Economic Injury Disaster Loan program. The indictment alleges the group used false documents to obtain loans, spending the proceeds on luxury cars and homes. David Nathaniel Black Jr. faces over 100 counts of money laundering, while authorities continue to search for one suspect. The case is being prosecuted with support from the FBI and Department of Labor’s Office of Inspector General.
