A wildfire near Quincy Lakes Wildlife Area forced 'go now' evacuations for the Ancient Lakes area outside Quincy while text alerts were disrupted.

An LVMPD drone located a person outside a home near Desert Inn and Arville on May 12 and helped guide officers to an arrest. The department says its drones now often arrive before officers.
