Unsolved Shooting in Golden Gate Park: $100,000 Reward Offered
You may have seen these flyers around the neighborhood. Over Thanksgiving weekend in 2009, Brandon Lee Evans, 20, was shot to death near the Conservatory of Flowers. He died on the way to the hospital. Brandon's family launched a campaign to try to find the his killer(s).

Here's a full shot of the poster that's gone up around the neighborhood:
Brandon went to Golden Gate Park to listen to music with his friends. He went to his car to get something and was shot in the back with a long-range bullet. He was rushed to the hospital, but died on the way. As of today, the murder is still unsolved, and Brandon's family is still looking for justice. The $100,000 reward comes from the SFPD, and if you have any information, you should contact Inspector Brian Delahunty at (415) 553-1336, or [email protected]. Brandon's mother Christine Evans has been raising money to spread the word that his shooter is still out there. She came to San Francisco after the incident to pound the pavement, asking around and looking for answers. She's taking donations on Brandon's website that go toward publicizing the reward, with the idea that the more people who see it, the more likely someone will come forward, even three years later. Here's a video Christine posted on youtube in remembrance of her son just after he was killed:

We hope this new effort yields some results.
