A lot of progress, much of it green, has happened since our last check-in on the revamp of Dolores Park's southern half. Today, San Francisco Recreation & Parks Deputy of Public Affairs Connie Chan told us that neighbors can expect the park to open "in early 2016, as scheduled."
That's an improvement on the timeline for northern Dolores Park, which debuted its renovations in June, eight months behind schedule. The entire park was originally scheduled to have been completed by June 2015, but was delayed by groundwater and vandalism.
