C+M Coffee And Milk Now Open In Van Ness' War Memorial BuildingPhotos: Brittany Hopkins/Hoodline

More caffeine and quick bites have arrived in Civic Center: C+M Coffee And Milk is now open in the newly-renovated War Memorial Building at 401 Van Ness.

Just a few blocks away from the new Corridor Coffee at 100 Van Ness, C+M is the offspring of the Patina Restaurant Group, which is known for managing upscale eateries in landmarks and attractions nationwide, including Rockefeller Center, Walt Disney World and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.

From 7am-3pm Monday through Friday, C+M offers Intelligentsia coffee, sandwiches and salads, slices of toast piled high with sweet or savory toppings, baked goods and more. (Here's the full menu.)

After grabbing a pick-me-up, you may also want to check out the Arts Commission's new main gallery. Also located on the building's ground floor, the free public gallery is currently showcasing three inaugural exhibitions.
