Here’s a look at recently reported crimes in SFPD's Bayview District, which includes Potrero Hill, Dogpatch, Portola, Bayview and Hunters Point.

Unless otherwise noted, all information comes from the department's daily crime recaps.

3-On-1 Muni Robbery

On March 16th at 5:30 pm at the intersection of 25th and Connecticut streets, an 18-year-old woman riding a bus was attacked by an 18-year-old male and two women, 18 and 16.

The suspects approached the victim, asked a question, then wrestled her to the ground and stole a shopping bag full of clothes before fleeing. The victim was transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.  

Three armed men rob woman in her home

A woman who lives on the 200 block of Pelican Cove Terrace was robbed on March 10th by three men in their twenties who entered her home. Once inside, one of the suspects aimed a handgun and demanded her property.

After the victim complied, the suspects fled in a vehicle that was last seen traveling eastbound on Sandpiper Cove Way.

Two people assaulted in drive-by robbery

Around 11:50pm near the intersection of Revere Avenue and Ingalls Street on March 9th, five suspects in a vehicle approached a 29-year-old man and a 50-year-old woman who were walking down the street.

Two suspects got exited the vehicle, assaulted the victims and stole a purse, wallets, credit cards, cash and ID. The robbers got back into the vehicle and fled eastbound on Revere; the victims were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.

Resident catches burglars in the act

On March 6th at 11:30 am on the 1200th block of Ingalls Street, a 33-year-old woman saw a female suspect in her sixties and a 35-year-old man leave her apartment and place her property into a vehicle before driving away.

The thieves made off with the victim's jewelry box, laptop, TV and passport. 

Duo robs man at gunpoint

Near the intersection of 3rd street and Quesada Avenue on March 5th, a fight ensued around 10pm when a 23-year-old man who left a store was approached by two men in their twenties who demanded his property.

During the altercation, one of the suspects pulled out a handgun and pointed it at the victim. After he handed over his property, both suspects fled in a vehicle occupied by two other suspects.    

Passenger carjacks driver, flees

On February 28th at 11:30 pm at the intersection of Hudson Avenue and Mendell Street a 27-year-old woman was sitting in a car with a 23-year-old man. She asked the man to exit the car but he pulled out a gun, pointed it at her and told her to get out before driving away.
