A unknown suspect shot a man outside Stonestown Galleria mall last night, police have reported.

The incident took place around 8:09 p.m. in the mall's parking lot on the 3200 block of 20th Avenue. The victim, a 23-year-old man, was sitting in the front passenger seat of a parked vehicle when he heard gunshots and saw a window shatter.

After he realized he was injured, he victim was transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening wounds. Police are still searching for the shooter.
