Ready for a new bakery to spice up your routine? SusieCakes has debuted a new location at 3509 California St. in Presidio Heights.

Located in the Laurel Village Shopping Center, this new outpost of the West Coast cupcake bakery is its third in San Francisco; the others are in the Financial District and the Marina. It's taken over the space formerly home to Toss Designs.

Expect to find SusieCakes' signature frosting-filled cupcakes and other fresh-baked treats. SusieCakes' cupcakes come in varieties like mocha, coconut, red velvet, and flourless chocolate. The bakery also sells pies, brownies and cookies and offers custom layer cakes for occasions.

The new locale has garnered rave reviews thus far, with a 4.5-star rating out of three reviews on Yelp.

Lovetoeat A., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Sept. 15, wrote, "So many cakes, so many different flavors! ... Service is very friendly."

And Yelper Yadi V. noted, "Ordered four cupcakes and they were all delicious. Chocolate on chocolate is my new favorite (previously vanilla and then lemon). So good and staff was wonderful and friendly."

Interested? Stop by to welcome the new business to the neighborhood. SusieCakes is open from 10 a.m.–7 p.m. on Monday–Saturday and 11 a.m.–5 p.m. on Sunday.
