In the wake of Hurricane Francine's departure, Lafourche Parish public schools are set to resume classes tomorrow. According to WWLTV, school officials confirmed the schools' reopening without affecting the planned school calendar, including the fall break scheduled for October 14 and 15.
These closings, prompted by the post-hurricane cleanup, have led parents and guardians to be advised to check for any possible rescheduling of school events or activities. As per the details shared by the Lafourche Parish School District's Facebook page, the breaks or holidays already programmed into this academic year will remain intact.
"Parents are asked to check their student’s school for events or activities that may have been rescheduled," shared WGNO.
