Tragedy struck the French Quarter last week when gunfire erupted in broad daylight, claiming the life of one woman and injuring three others. The Orleans Parish Coroner's Office has now identified the deceased as 27-year-old Yasmeen Webb, as reported by WGNO.
The incident occurred last Thursday afternoon, with the New Orleans Police Department responding to the chaotic scene where four individuals were wounded. Among them was Webb, who succumbed to her injuries despite urgent medical attention. Two other victims were listed as stable, and another was in surgery, according to WDSU.
Surveillance footage played a pivotal role in the swift apprehension of Nicholas Miorana, 28, implicating him and two others—Daniel Miorana, 21, and Darrell Adams, 23—in this senseless act of violence. Adams was also wanted on prior charges of aggravated battery by shooting. Each faces charges of second-degree murder and attempted second-degree murder as the police continue their manhunt, as per WWLTV reports.
