A dense fog advisory is in effect until 9 a.m. for the far western parts of the region, so residents are advised to be cautious when traveling. Today's forecast calls for an afternoon high near 83°F, followed by a partly cloudy Friday with highs around 81°F.
Heading into the weekend, The National Weather Service predicts significant temperature changes as a front is set to hit before dawn on Saturday. The forecast includes morning temperatures in the 50s, followed by an afternoon climb to the 70s, accompanied by low humidity. For those planning ahead, similar conditions are expected to continue into Sunday.
