In response to the Christmas Day shooting in Miami that left four people injured, detectives from the Miami Dade Police Department arrested 31-year-old Dacia Allie Tisdale. The shooting occurred around 6:30 p.m. near 26510 SW 138 Court. Three of the victims were transported to Homestead Baptist Hospital by a friend, while the fourth was taken to Jackson South Medical Center by Miami Dade Fire Rescue. Two of the victims were airlifted to Jackson South Medical Center due to their critical condition.
According to a Miami Dade Police Department release on the Miami Dade County website, the investigation revealed that the shooting followed an altercation between one of the victims and Tisdale. During the dispute, Tisdale allegedly retrieved a firearm from her vehicle and fired into the yard, hitting multiple people. She briefly left the scene but returned and continued shooting, injuring a fourth person. Tisdale was arrested yesterday and faces charges of attempted pre-meditated murder.
Details about the victims have not been released, but they include a 51-year-old white male, a 50-year-old white female, and two 27-year-old females. Authorities are encouraging witnesses or anyone with information to contact Miami Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS (8477).
