
Authorities have issued a Silver Alert for John Mark Nicholas, a 68-year-old man with dementia and Alzheimer’s disease, who was last seen in Ogden. According to KUTV, Nicholas described as having shoulder-length blonde hair, a gray and white beard, and a slight hunch when walking, has been missing since Saturday afternoon.
As reported by Gephardt Daily, Nicholas is 5’10” and weighs 202 pounds. It's believed he was attempting to head to 2245 Monroe Boulevard, Apt. #13. He was last seen wearing a white shirt, blue jeans, a gray, white, and light blue vest, and a baseball cap. The community is being asked to help safely locate the man with diminished mental capacity.
The Ogden Police Department has urged the public to reach out if they have any information regarding Nicholas's whereabouts. "Police ask if you have seen Nicholas to contact Ogden Police Department at 801-395-8221 or dial 911," as stated by KSLTV. The prompt issuance of the Silver Alert reflects the urgency in finding individuals at heightened risk due to their cognitive conditions.
