
Three workers were injured yesterday morning while on a construction site at a Surfside. As reported by Local 10 News, Miami-Dade Fire Rescue (MDFR) responded to the emergency in the 9100 block of Collins Avenue following reports of a "medical call with traumatic injuries" just before the noon hour.
MDFR reports that two of the injured were taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center, while the third was transported to a nearby hospital. Parts of Collins Avenue were closed to allow ambulances quick access to the site.
The extent of the workers' injuries and the details of the accident are still unclear, as per WSVN. The details of the incident remain unclear as the investigation is ongoing.
