The incident was reported before dawn, just shy of 5:39 a.m., and deputies responded to the scene in the 5600 block of NW 19th Avenue where they discovered the victim with at least one gunshot wound, according to local authorities and confirmed by Local 10.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue transported the injured man to Jackson Memorial Hospital's Ryder Trauma Center where he was listed in stable condition, the Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office stated, citing the particular circumstances of the altercation leading to the victim being shot, the dispute between him and the perpetrator, an adult male, escalated when the latter produced a firearm and decided to use it and as of now the authorities are hunting for the gunman who vanished before law enforcement arrived.
