A late-night shooting in Miami Gardens led to a bullet-riddled car appearing at a Hollywood gas station, prompting an active investigation. Officers from both Hollywood and Miami Gardens Police Departments responded to the RaceTrac at 5800 Hollywood Blvd. after a white Nissan Altima with at least 10 bullet holes and bloodstains was found, as Local 10 reported.
The victim, who had been shot, drove himself to the gas station seeking help and was taken to a nearby hospital. His condition and identity remain undisclosed. Authorities spent hours at the crime scene, collecting evidence and securing the area while a tow truck removed the damaged vehicle.
According to NBC Miami, in Miami Gardens, forensic investigators were present in a neighborhood near Florida's Turnpike and Northwest 215th Street. A local resident reported hearing gunshots, supporting the idea of a violent incident in the area. The connection between the two locations has not yet been confirmed by police.
