According to their request, a woman has been identified in connection with a recent simple robbery that took place on May 19. The incident, which involved a group of individuals, occurred at a business located on the 2000 block of North Claiborne Avenue, where items worth hundreds of dollars were taken by means of force and intimidation.
Through detailed investigation, NOPD detectives have singled out one individual, Dernee McGuffy. Described as a Black female with the date of birth listed as May 18, 2007, McGuffy has been recognized as a participant in the event. The NOPD took to their official news blog to publicize a call for assistance to the community in an attempt to quickly locate her.
The police department has circulated a photograph of McGuffy, asking anyone with information about her whereabouts to come forward. The NOPD has emphasized the importance of community involvement in addressing these incidents, while assuring that tips can be submitted anonymously.
