According to the alert, an aggravated criminal sexual assault was perpetrated against an adult female. The Chicago Police's official notification details that the victim was forcibly taken into an empty lot and subsequently assaulted and robbed by an unknown male individual.
The reported offense took place in the early hours at approximately midnight on June 7th on the 3900 block of W Huron St. The assailant, described as an African American male with a thin build and possibly wearing twist braids or dreadlocks, fled the scene after the attack. He was wearing a gray shirt, which the victim last saw.
Authorities are urging the public to remain vigilant and to report any individuals matching this description. For those in the community, the police recommend memorizing any distinctive features an attacker might have—such as scars, tattoos, or even a peculiar walk.
