The Springville Police Department is currently on the lookout for a suspect involved in an attempted theft that took place early yesterday morning. According to the Springville Police Department, the suspect was seen trying car doors and handling private property around the area of 1100 West 100 South sometime between 4 AM and 5 AM.

"We aren’t CSI Miami," the department lamented, acknowledging the limitations they have when it comes to enhancing surveillance footage for clues. However, they emphasized their reliance on the community's help, asking locals to check their cars and surveillance cameras. The original post stated, "We need YOU, to check your cars if you live in this area. We also need you to check your cameras, pwetty pwease," as per the Springville Police Department. The intent is to garner citizen assistance in identifying the suspect responsible for the petty crimes.
