Taylorsville Police are currently investigating after a deadly incident occurred outside a home in Taylorsville early Saturday morning. At approximately 2:30 a.m., officers responded to a call involving an altercation at a residence located at 5000 South Redwood Road, according to FOX 13. Upon arrival, they found a man with severe injuries who ultimately succumbed to his wounds at the scene.
Simultaneously, Taylorsville Police Lt. Aaron Cheshire informed KSL in their reporting that life-saving measures were administered to the individual, but were unsuccessful. He added the police were summoned to the area at about 2:31 a.m. Furthermore, this incident resulted in not only a fatality but also left another individual injured.
Details surrounding the nature and cause of the incident have not been publicly disclosed at this time. However, it has been confirmed that a female was involved and has been hospitalized for her injuries. As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with this case, as reported by ABC4, which is closely following the ongoing investigation.
