The Salt Lake City Police Department has initiated a Silver Alert for 63-year-old Glenda Harrison, who was last seen in the early hours near 1200 West Iola Ave. According to a social media post by the Salt Lake City Police Department, Glenda, who struggles with mobility issues, is described as being about 5'6" in height, weighing around 110 pounds, and having a distinctive, very skinny build along with gray hair tinged with brown.
Residents of Salt Lake City are being asked to stay vigilant for Harrison, especially considering her noticeable attire at the time of her disappearance; she was wearing a purple Scooby Doo shirt, black pajama bottoms, and, notably, no shoes. Despite her mobility issues, she was determined to weather the elements or the terrain barefoot, which could increase her vulnerability.
The circumstances of Glenda's disappearance have not been disclosed in detail, but the urgency of the Silver Alert underscores the concern for her well-being. The community is urged to be observant and report any sightings to emergency services to provide a prompt response. The Salt Lake City Police Department has emphasized that any information could be crucial and asks that reports be made by calling 9-1-1 immediately if Glenda is spotted or if any relevant information comes to light.
