In an unfortunate incident early Tuesday morning, a woman lost her life in a two-vehicle collision in Tooele County, as confirmed by Lieutenant Jeff Watson of the Grantsville Police Department. The collision, involving a Ford F-150 truck and a white Chevy Malibu, occurred near Sheep Lane and SR-112, as reported by ABC4. The Chevy Malibu, making a left turn onto SR-112, failed to yield, leading to the pickup truck, which was traveling westbound, striking the Malibu.
Despite the efforts of emergency services responding to the scene, the passenger in the back of the Malibu was pronounced dead at the location. According to KSL, police have not yet released her name. The crash left the other two passengers with injuries not considered life-threatening, and they have been taken to the hospital, while the truck driver, having suffered injuries, did not need hospitalization.
