Here's a brief roundup of recent changes to Castro area businesses. In this edition, a holiday pop-up bar and cookie shop open, and a dog grooming business is on the way.

Pawpitos (2264 Market)

A new dog grooming business Pawpitos will open soon in the Castro.

Pawpitos will open at 2264 Market Street, formerly Right Style Salon & Barber. Right Style recently moved to 2128 Market Street, formerly Schlomer Haus Gallery.

Owner Luis Benitez tells Hoodline that Pawpitos will open in January.

Benitez will be familiar to many as he owns Castro Barber Lounge across the street.

Deck The Halls (2298 Market)

Castro residents and visitors looking to get into the holiday spirit now have a new Christmas-themed pop-up bar.

Deck the Halls holiday pop-up bar is now open at 2298 Market Street, a.k.a. the space formerly known as Cafe Flore.

The former Fisch & Flore space was briefly Fat Cat Wine Club, which closed November 22.

Deck the Halls has converted the former Cafe Flore space into a winter wonderland full of candy canes, gingerbread men, holiday-themed cocktails and seasonal bites.

Deck the Halls is open daily through December 28.

Antoine's Cookie Shop (2073 Market)

Antoine's Cookie Shop is now open at 2073 Market Street, formerly Woodhouse Fish.

Hoodline first reported the news back in May that the cookie shop would be opening.

Now, after remodeling the space, Antoine's Cookie Shop held its grand opening on Friday, December 5.

Founder and owner Antoine Tang started his cookie business in 2013 and opened his first shop in San Mateo in 2015.

Cookie options include chocolate chip, cookies 'n cream, snickerdoodle, honeycomb, dark chocolate, toffee, peanut buttercup, white chocolate macadamia, oatmeal chip with pecans, walnut chip, and semi-sweet macadamia.
