
Three young children were hospitalized following a hit-and-run crash in Indianapolis, prompting an IMPD investigation. Officers responded to an emergency call around 3:49 p.m. Monday at Madison Avenue and E. Stop 10 Road, FOX59 reports. One of the children had been ejected from the vehicle during the crash.
The children are in stable condition and recovering at a local hospital, IMPD reports. The second vehicle involved in the crash fled before police could secure the scene. IMPD is asking anyone with information to come forward, WTHR reports.
The crash caused significant traffic delays as IMPD managed cleanup and evidence processing. Authorities have urged the public to avoid the area while investigators continue examining the scene.
