Johnson County is hosting a variety of holiday events this season. According to the Indiana House Republicans' press release, the Dec-A-Trees exhibit at the Johnson County Museum of History runs through the end of December, showcasing creatively decorated trees. Residents can also enjoy tree lightings, concerts, and holiday markets throughout the county.
The Greenwood Amphitheater is open to the public free of charge and features a lighted trail through December 31. The display, along with tree lightings and holiday music, draws families and friends together during the season.
Preparations for the 2026 legislative session are underway, and local representatives are encouraging residents to participate in shaping the community’s future. House District 58 constituents can share input via an online survey at in.gov/h58 or through mailed postcards with QR codes.
Residents in Johnson County can complete their state representative surveys on the Indiana House Republicans’ website. Constituents can also watch live sessions, monitor agendas, track legislation at iga.in.gov, or contact the representative’s office for assistance or input on legislation.
The representative also extended holiday wishes of peace, prosperity, and possibility to constituents.
