
The National Weather Service in New Orleans has released its latest weather forecast for the city, providing residents with details on what to expect in the coming days. According to the National Weather Service update from this morning, New Orleanians woke up to fog and mist with a rather cool 45°F and humidity levels hovering at 97%. Visibility was reduced to 3 miles, making the morning commute a little more challenging for those early risers.
However, the fog was projected to lift before 8 am. The rest of the day is set to gradually warm up to a comfortable high near 68 degrees, with winds expected to shift from light and variable to westerly at 5 to 10 mph. The clear conditions are forecasted to persist into the night, reaching a low around 46 degrees, as reported by the National Weather Service.
Thursday will be sunny with a high around 59°F and light winds shifting from northeast to southeast. On Friday, it will be mostly sunny and warmer, with a high near 71°F and calm morning winds that turn south later. Friday night will be partly cloudy with a low around 56°F, and the southeast wind will calm down. The weekend stays sunny, with highs near 72°F on Saturday and about 66°F on Sunday, according to the National Weather Service.
Sunday night will be partly cloudy with a low near 43°F and a light northeast breeze around 10 mph. Monday will be mostly sunny with a high near 58°F, and the night will be mostly cloudy with a low around 47°F. Tuesday is expected to be mostly cloudy but warmer, with a high near 64°F, as per the National Weather Service.
