According to the National Weather Service update from this morning, New Orleanians woke up to fog and mist with a rather cool 45°F and humidity levels hovering at 97%. Visibility was reduced to 3 miles, making the morning commute a little more challenging for those early risers.
However, the fog was projected to lift before 8 am. The rest of the day is set to gradually warm up to a comfortable high near 68 degrees, with winds expected to shift from light and variable to westerly at 5 to 10 mph. The clear conditions are forecasted to persist into the night, reaching a low around 46 degrees, as reported by the National Weather Service.
Thursday will be sunny with a high around 59°F and light winds shifting from northeast to southeast. On Friday, it will be mostly sunny and warmer, with a high near 71°F and calm morning winds that turn south later. Friday night will be partly cloudy with a low around 56°F, and the southeast wind will calm down. The weekend stays sunny, with highs near 72°F on Saturday and about 66°F on Sunday, according to the National Weather Service.

Monday will be mostly sunny with a high near 58°F, and the night will be mostly cloudy with a low around 47°F.
