
In accordance with Governor Landry’s Executive Order Number JML-26-010, Early Voting for the February 7, 2026, Special Election will be suspended on Monday, January 26, at all Orleans Parish Early Voting sites. This announcement comes from Orleans Parish Registrar of Voters, Lisa Manning Bridges, according to the City of New Orleans.
Early Voting will resume on Tuesday, January 27, at 8:30 a.m. and continue through Saturday, January 31, ending at 6:00 p.m. Voters should plan accordingly to ensure they can cast their ballots, as reported by the City of New Orleans.
“Sending thoughts of safety and resilience to communities in the path of the winter storm and to the first responders keeping watch,” said Registrar Manning Bridges.
