A statewide Missing Child Alert has Miami police searching once again for 15-year-old Abdul Olawale Jr., who was reported missing yesterday after last being seen in Miami’s Overtown neighborhood.
Investigators say Olawale may be traveling on an electric scooter and could still be in the area around Northwest 4th Avenue.
According to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, Olawale is about 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs roughly 120 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.
He was last seen on the 1600 block of Northwest 4th Avenue wearing a black hoodie that reads "Death Row," a fluorescent white undershirt, light-blue shorts, high-ankle socks and blue slippers. Officials say he may also be carrying a gray Nike backpack and riding an electric scooter.
Olawale was previously reported missing and later found safe in May 2024. That earlier alert was canceled after Miami police confirmed his recovery. Authorities have not said why he is again the subject of a statewide missing-child notice.
