A Monday evening commute on Allisonville Road ended in tragedy when a motorcyclist was killed in a crash near Harrison Parkway in Fishers, Hamilton County, according to police. The busy corridor was shut down for hours as emergency crews and investigators worked the scene.
The wreck was reported shortly before 8 p.m., and a Fishers police spokesperson told WTHR the crash involved a motorcycle and resulted in at least one fatality. Officers diverted traffic between 131st Street and 141st Street while they processed the scene, according to WTHR.
