
A person is in critical condition after a late-night shooting on Indianapolis’ west side turned a familiar stretch of Rockville Road back into a crime scene, police said. Officers were called to the 4900 block of Rockville Road shortly before midnight Saturday, where they found an individual suffering from injuries consistent with a gunshot wound. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital, and the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department opened an investigation as detectives remained on scene into the early morning hours.

According to FOX59, IMPD officers responded to the 4900 block of Rockville Road at about 11:53 p.m. and located a person with injuries consistent with a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to an area hospital and was listed in critical condition, police said.
