The Justus Companies has cut the ribbon on a new corporate headquarters in Noblesville, shifting key leadership and offices out of Indianapolis after more than a century. The two-story, roughly 20,000-square-foot building now anchors the Promenade of Noblesville development, bringing new leasable office space and outdoor amenities to the mixed-use project. City officials and company leaders say the move strengthens Noblesville’s emerging commercial corridor and widens the local jobs base.
The Promenade Gets a Corporate Anchor
In a press release, The Justus Companies describes the new headquarters as a 20,000-square-foot, two-story campus on a seven-acre site at the northeast corner of Little Chicago Road and State Road 32, with collaborative workspaces, a multipurpose room and fitness areas. The company also notes approximately 3,200 square feet of leasable office space for other tenants. “This move represents an exciting new chapter for The Justus Companies,” Walt Justus, the company’s fourth-generation president and CEO, said in the release, which is available from The Justus Companies.
The relocation followed a 2024 economic development agreement approved by the Noblesville Common Council that cleared the path for the project. The plan calls for a reported $7.33 million investment, the retention of 23 jobs and the addition of five new positions, as reported by WISH-TV. That coverage also noted the firm had been based in Indianapolis for more than a century and identified the Promenade as the future headquarters site.
Company Footprint and Local Projects
City economic materials describe the Promenade as a mixed-use hub of housing, retail and trails, and list the development as the future home of The Justus Companies’ headquarters, positioning the move within a larger growth strategy. The city’s year-in-review highlights the Promenade alongside major projects that together produced thousands of new housing units and substantial private investment, according to a summary from Noblesville Economic Development.
The City of Noblesville shared photos and thanks to The Justus Companies on social media, saying it looks forward to the firm’s continued success and positive impact on the Promenade district. The post also credits the company with helping bring projects and tenants to the area, including Promenade Apartments, Promenade Trails, a learning-day care center, Pep Boys and a Meijer grocery store. The photos and remarks are available on the city’s Facebook page via the City of Noblesville Facebook post.
What To Watch Next
City figures show Noblesville absorbed roughly $671 million in private investment and more than 1,400 new residential units in 2024, and local leaders say corporate relocations help keep that momentum going by bringing office demand and daytime customers to nearby retail. How quickly the Promenade fills its remaining commercial space, including the 3,200 square feet inside Justus’s campus, will be one measure of whether the district’s retail and office market is maturing.
The company now lists its Noblesville address and contact information on its website, and officials say they expect the new headquarters to be a long-term commitment on the city’s downtown fringe.
