Opening Day Details And Promotions
According to Axios, the new East Nashville shop will open at 10:45 a.m. Wednesday at 1206 Gallatin Avenue. The first 100 guests on opening day will score exclusive Hattie B's swag, so expect some early birds staking out spots. The opening makes this the sixth Hattie B's location inside the Nashville area.
Hangar, Patio And Family Space
Nashville Scene reports that the main dining room comes in just over 3,200 square feet, with a 1,400-square-foot patio and a hangar space that adds roughly 2,500 square feet and about 62 seats, making this Hattie B's largest property so far. Co-owner Nick Bishop Jr. told the outlet, "When I saw that space in the back, it immediately felt like a place for families to hang." The hangar is set up for live neighborhood music, sports watch parties and games including bocce, pinball and a putting green, turning the spot into more than just a quick stop for hot chicken.
Where This Move Fits The Chain
Hattie B's lists locations across the U.S., including Las Vegas, Chicago, and multiple Texas markets, on its locations page. The brand has also picked up some national shine, earning a nod among the MICHELIN Guide American South's recommended restaurants in 2025, per Visit Music City.
Hot Chicken Roots And East Nashville
East Nashville is not exactly new territory for hot chicken. Long-standing purveyors like Prince's and Bolton's helped define the city's hot-chicken identity, according to Eater Nashville. Those neighborhood institutions are a big part of why the Bishop family has said they wanted to "show up the right way" as Hattie B's crossed the river into this side of town.
Hours And Community Tie‑ins
The East Nashville location will operate Sunday through Thursday from 10:45 a.m. to 10 p.m., and from 10:45 a.m. to midnight on Friday and Saturday. Hattie B's says its 2026 charitable partner is The Busyhead Project, and one dollar from every order of the chain's hottest heat level, "Shut the Cluck Up!," will go to the organization, according to Nashville Scene.
Between the patio, the hangar space and the family-friendly games, Hattie B's East Nashville, billed internally as HB18, is clearly aiming to be both a neighborhood hangout and a regional draw on the Gallatin Avenue strip. Expect a packed first weekend as fans chase their preferred heat level and a plate of Southern sides across the river.
