According to WhatNow, Millbraes Cafe is preparing to open at 1663 El Camino Real, with a public filing identifying Maria Guadalupe Davalos as the owner. The filing describes the business as a café and shows an application to sell beer and wine, though no opening date has been announced.
Menu And Opening Details Are Still Brewing
For now, there is no official website, published menu, or disclosed renovation plan to fill in the blanks. That makes the project a genuine work in progress rather than a confirmed grand-opening countdown, with the next meaningful clues likely to come through permits, signage, or an announcement from the business.
The future cafe would land on one of Millbrae’s main commercial corridors. The City of Millbrae describes El Camino Real as one of the city’s major transportation and business corridors, lined with retail, restaurants, service businesses, and hotels.
That positioning also fits the city’s broader planning goals for the area. Millbrae’s Downtown and El Camino Real plan calls for more mixed-use development featuring restaurants, retail, offices, hotels, and entertainment—making a neighborhood cafe a small but very on-theme addition to the corridor.
