Heat Holds Through Monday
Sunday should begin with fog before 9 a.m., then turn sunny and warmer, with a high near 89°F. Monday is expected to be mostly sunny and around 90°F, with southwest winds gusting up to 20 mph.
That warmth will come with plenty of humidity, and heat-index values could climb into the mid-90s to low 100s at times through midweek. Outdoor plans may be manageable early in the day, but afternoon breaks, water and shade will matter as the heat builds.
Storm Chances Increase Tuesday And Wednesday
Rain and thunderstorm chances rise to about 40% Tuesday, then 70% Wednesday, with showers and storms likely Tuesday night into Wednesday. Stronger storms could produce damaging wind gusts, while slow-moving downpours may cause localized flooding.
Cooler air finally nudges in later in the week, with highs near 81°F Thursday and 80°F Friday, but rain chances remain around 40% to 50%.
