“The Music of Billy Joel & Elton John” is scheduled for Saturday, August 29, at 8 p.m., according to Miami's Community News. Cavanaugh was selected by Billy Joel to lead the Broadway production “Movin’ Out,” and the Moss Center concert will feature classics from both artists’ catalogs. Tickets range from $40 to $70, with $80 VIP seating available.

Cavanaugh’s connection to Joel is more than a convenient concert-bio detail: He performed the lead role in “Movin’ Out” for more than 1,200 performances over three years. His official artist website lists songs including “Rocket Man,” “I’m Still Standing,” “Candle in the Wind,” “Movin’ Out,” “My Life” and “Piano Man.”
The production is built as a symphonic celebration rather than a straight impersonation show, giving Cavanaugh room to lean into the piano-driven rock that made both singers household names.
