According to ABC4 Utah, Salt Lake City police officers received multiple reports of gunfire near 565 South and 600 West, close to the FrontRunner route by Salt Lake Central Station. Lt. Steve Wooldridge said the reports came in around 12:54 a.m. Saturday, prompting officers to head to the area, where they found shell casings and other physical evidence.
Shell Casings Point to Gunfire, But No Injuries Reported
Officers found several shell casings near the intersection, evidence that shots had been fired, according to the same account. No injuries resulting from the incident had been reported as of the station's report.
