A 64-year-old woman has been missing from New Orleans since she was last seen in the French Quarter on Sunday afternoon, and police say she is without medication tied to multiple serious medical conditions. Song Jin He was last spotted around 2:30 p.m. near the intersection of Decatur and Governor Nicholls Street, according to the New Orleans Police Department, and she has not been heard from since.
The New Orleans Police Department has asked for the public's help locating Song, according to Fox 8. In a bulletin issued Monday, NOPD News specified that Song was born on April 3, 1962, and was last seen wearing a black-and-white floral-pattern shirt, black pants, and black-and-white shoes. Officers noted she has not been heard from since her last sighting Sunday afternoon.
Song suffers from multiple medical issues and is without her medication, per the station's report. Because of those severe medical vulnerabilities and the lack of required medication, official police records state that NOPD has upgraded her disappearance to a critical missing person case — a status that triggers priority investigative resources.
