Three vehicles collided Friday on northbound Interstate 215 near 2900 South in West Valley City, sending one person to the hospital with life-threatening injuries and closing three of the highway's five lanes during the response, according to KUTV. Utah Highway Patrol troopers handled the crash, which disrupted traffic in Salt Lake County.
The injured person was taken to Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, according to KUTV. Utah Highway Patrol officials confirmed the collision occurred on northbound I-215 at 2900 South.
