The Elgin Police Department has announced its Halloween Extravaganza.
According to a post from the Elgin Police Department on Facebook, the department announced its Halloween Extravaganza.
Costumed visitors from the Midwest Garrison are also expected to make an appearance. The Midwest Garrison is the Illinois chapter.
Information Available in English and Spanish
The department posted the full event rundown in both English and Spanish, aiming to reach as much of the community as possible ahead of the Tuesday gathering.
This isn't the department's first run at a headquarters Halloween party. Last year, the Elgin Police Department held a similarly free event on Oct. 28 at the same 151 Douglas Ave. location, running the same 5 to 7 p.m. window, according to the Chicago Tribune. That 2025 edition featured family fun, music, community resources, a haunted house, trick-or-treating and a costume contest for kids 12 and under, as described by Explore Elgin Area. That listing's event information was offered in both English and Spanish.
